Before 2011, no one had really heard of Pentatonix. The five member a cappella group from Arlington, Texas didn’t get a break until they won NBC’s ‘The Sing-Off’ in 2011. After that, they formed their now incredibly popular Youtube channel and now boast over 9 million subscribers!
While their most-viewed music video is a tribute to French House legends Daft Punk, they have performed a variety of pop song covers, and even their own original songs.
With Christmas just around the corner, their rendition of the famous carol ‘Silent Night’ is more than appropriate and hauntingly beautiful. It’s almost like a modern choir of angels.
