One-Legged Man Creates Epic Halloween Costumes Each Year, Here’s His 2017 Creation
Every year around the Halloween season, cheap and clever costumes emerge from the internet but these will be some that you have definitely never seen.
Josh Sundquist, now a motivational speaker, only has one leg which he uses in his costumes ideas to be truly one of a kind.
2010: From Shrek, The Gingerbread Man
He lost his left leg after being diagnosed with cancer at the age of nine but has been cancer free ever since he was thirteen.
Despite the 50% chance of surviving and all the chemotherapy, Josh is making the best of his case becoming famous for his Halloween costumes.
2012: A reference to the movie ‘A Christmas Story’
“I’ve always dealt with the social discomfort of my disability by having a sense of humor,” Sundquist explains.
“But now I’m more comfortable with who I am and what I look like, and I guess with these Halloween costumes you could even say that I celebrate what makes me different. Which may be either weird or refreshing, depending on your perspective.”
Check out some of his costumes down below!
2013: He was at the zoo and noticed Flamingos look like him when doing a handstand on crutches
2014: He was named the US Amputee World Cup Team and thought it was funny
2015: Classic amputee joke and Josh decided to anthropomorphize it
2016: Lumière from the classic movie ‘Beauty and the Beast’
2017: And this year… Tigger!
