Local KFC Gives Out Free Meals to Cops but Angry Customers Are Demanding More

Police officers recently have been having a tough time with the media and aren’t often viewed in good light.

But one restaurant in Gallipolis, Ohio, is working to change how men and women in uniform are treated, ensuring they are valued and cared for.

The owner of the KFC in the town has posted a sign saying that “All uniformed police officers eat free every day all day” catering free meals towards all uniformed police.

It is to show appreciation and respect for all their hard work keeping the people safe and protected when they almost always are approached with hate.

Even though the owner wanted this to be just a friendly act of kindness, he has been receiving backlash from the community for his actions.

They are saying that it shouldn’t just be the police officers who are receiving this treatment and that all first responders should be given this privilege as well.

To which the administrator of the Ohio Going Blue Facebook page addressed in a post that they shouldn’t be bashing the idea, but to be more appreciative of the gesture.

Police officers often dedicate their lives to the citizens of the city and the least they should be offered is a meal to fill them up.

Should more restaurants be doing this as well? What do you think?
