Hyperkin SmartBoy: Turn Your Smartphone into a Handheld Gaming Device

The Hyperkin SmartBoy is a device that attaches to your smartphone to turn it into a handheld gaming device. Currently, it’s compatible with Game Boy and Game Boy Color cartridges.

To use it, first you must download an emulator from the App store on your phone. The SmartBoy recommends the application: “My OldBoy! Free – GBC Emulator”.

Then, from the emulator, you’ll map the keys so they sync up with the buttons on your SmartBoy.

Once that’s finished, you’re pretty much ready to go! Pop whatever old cartridges and relive your childhood through the new and advanced SmartBoy.
