Dog Is Lonely After Losing His Sister, Watch His Reaction When His Parents Adopt a Duck

You might think interspecies relationships might not work out, but this husky and duck might prove you wrong.

Patrick and Kirsten Riley adopted Max the husky when he was five years old. He and Sasha, another husky the couple had, became fast friends, but she later passed away.

Max was lonely and needed a friend—then Patrick and Kirsten adopted a pet duck.

Max immediately bonded with Quackers the duck when Patrick and Kirsten brought him home—he would sit next to his pen all the time, and they do everything together.

“They sleep together, they eat together, they drink together, they go for walks together. Everything is together,” Kirsten told WCCO.

Even though their relationship seems strange, they’re clearly best friends and the town can’t get enough of it.
